Dependencies from jboss-deployment-structure.xml are seen twice

Environment

  • JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 6.4.9 and earlier

Issue

  • It looks like dependencies specified in jboss-deployment-structure.xml are seen twice. For instance, if we depend on a private module, we are warned about it twice. Or looking up a resource in a module may return two results instead of one.

Resolution

  • Await a fix in a later CP
  • Upgrade to EAP 7.0.0
