JBoss ON user with Manage Alert permission is not able to delete Group Alert Definition for assigned resource groups

Environment

Issue

• User with alert creation rights not able to delete alert on resource group
• User with Manage Alert rights for creating alerts cannot removed/deleted their alert definitions

Resolution

This issue has been resolved in JBoss ON 3.3 Update-09 (3.3.9).

To workaround this issue, you can remove an alert definition from each individual resource directly -- rather than from the resource group.

Root Cause

The alert definition page of resource groups does not pass the required resource group information to the alert definition removal method. This prevent the alert definition removal method from validating the user has proper permission for the group as the group context is not available.
