Issue

The <overlay> option does not work in jboss-web.xml for JBoss EAP 7.

Resolution

This issue was resolved in JBoss EAP 7.0.5: <Content from issues.jboss.org is not included.https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBEAP-8041>

Root Cause

The <overlay> option was not implemented in JBoss EAP 7.0.0 through 7.0.4.
