Root Cause

There is a known defect (Content from hibernate.atlassian.net is not included.HHH-11400) in certain versions of Hibernate when using the following in JPA and legacy (non-JPA) Hibernate queries:

  • member of <collection>
  • size(<collection>)
  • elements (<collection>)
