Issue

I'm using the jboss-web.xml <overlay> feature which is implemented in EAP 7.0 CP5 or later. However, the static content under <overlay> directory is not served correctly after the content is updated.

Resolution

EAP 7.1+

Fixed in EAP 7.1 +

EAP 7.0

  • Apply CP8 or later
  • This issue does not happen with an exploded deployment. You can use the exploded deployment instead of the archived deployment as a workaround.
