How to enable a repository through Red Hat Satellite WebUI to reflect on the content host?

Environment

  • Red Hat Satellite 6.x.

Issue

  • How to enable a repository through Red Hat Satellite WebUI to reflect on the content host?
  • Repositories are present in content view assigned to content host but it not visible/enabled.

Resolution

  • Enable the repository from the Red Hat Satellite WebUI for the content host and then check using the subscription-manager repos --list on the content host.
 Red HatSatellite WebUI -> Host -> Content Host -> Select the Content Host -> Repository Sets -> Search the repository -> Override to Yes -> Save
  • Execute following command on content host to refresh the repository list.
# subscription-manager refresh
  • Verify the repository list using yum repolist all command.
