Issue

  • katello-server-ca.pem certificate missing under /etc/rhsm/ca on a content host registered to Red Hat Satellite 6
  • yum and gofer errors because of missing /etc/rhsm/ca/katello-server-ca.pem certificate

Resolution

  • Reinstall the katello-ca-consumer package using:
# rpm -Uvh http://satellite.example.com/pub/katello-ca-consumer-latest.noarch.rpm
