When login on GUI with 'Active Directory users' Roles are not assigning as per 'Users Group' on Red Hat Satellite 6.

Environment

• Red Hat Satellite 6.x
• Active directory

Issue

• When login on GUI with Active Directory users Roles are not assigning as per Users Group(Created with External Groups) on Red Hat Satellite 6 .

Resolution

Select the LDAP authentication sources Server type to Active Directory as follow:

On Red Hat Satellite GUI:
Adminiter >> LDAP Authentication >> Click on LDAP Auth Source Name >> Select Server type=Active Directory >> Submit
