Not able to register a host to Satellite 6.2 : Unable to register system, not all services available

Environment

• Red Hat Satellite 6.2

Issue

• When registering the host to the Red Hat Satellite server facing service error :

# subscription-manager register --org="Default_Organization" --activationkey="Act1" --force

Unable to register system, not all services available 

Resolution

• Restart the katello-service on the Satellite server :

# katello-service restart
 
# katello-service status

Root Cause

• The below services failed while checking the Satellite services by using the command katello-service status :

"Some services failed to status: pulp_workers,pulp_resource_manager,pulp_celerybeat"

Diagnostic Steps

• Check katello-service status

# katello-service status
