New Bundle wizard limits Bundle Group list to 200 entries

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.3 Update 11 and earlier
  • Assigning a JBoss ON Provisioning Bundle to a Bundle Group

Issue

  • Assign to Bundle groups screen limited to the first 200 Bundle Groups

Resolution

Beginning with JBoss ON 3.3 Update 12, the bundle group assignment page applies an unlimited page control to the list.

If you are not able to apply the latest 3.3 maintenance release, you can workaround the issue, by adding the new bundle without assigning the Bundle Group in the wizard. Instead, edit the Bundle Group and add the new bundle assignment.

Root Cause

The list control used in the user interface (UI) utilizes a default page limit of 200 elements. The bundle group assignment control does not provide a paging mechanism.
