Users are unable to delete Content view versions from Satellite 6.

Non-Administrator users having custom roles and filters assigned are unable to delete
Content Viewversions from Red Hat Satellite GUI.- While accessing
GUI->Content->Content Views-> CV ->Versions->Actionsonly Promote action is enabled instead it is expected to see Remove action as well.

Follow the below steps to create a custom role and to add the Filter:

Create a Custom role named Content View , assign the
OrganizationandLocationand then save it. -
Add the first filter with resource type as
Content Viewsand provide all the permissions by clicking the+icon andSubmit. -
Add another filter with resource type as
Lifecycle Environmentand provide all the permissions by clicking the+icon andSubmit. -
Assign the Content View role to the required User and then try removing the content view version.

Root Cause
- The Content View role was missing in the
Lifecycle Environmentfilter and onlyContent Viewsfilter was enabled . Once the filter was added in the Role then the version was removed from the Content View.
