How to change the download policy on a Satellite Capsule server

Environment

  • Satellite 6

Issue

  • The download policy from the Satellite has changed and the Capsule server needs to change

Resolution

In order to change the download policy for a Capsule, navigate to the Satellite WebUI:-

Infrastructure > Capsules > Edit ( on the capsule you need to change) > Download policy (change to the needed policy)

NOTE: The download policy for Satellite and Capsules can only go in the following order:

 Satellite		------> Capsule     
 on_demand		------> on_demand
 immediate		------> on_demand
 immediate		------> immediate
