Webui login is slow with LDAP authentication on Red Hat Satellite 6

Environment

• Red Hat Satellite 6
• LDAP authentication

Issue

• The Satellite WebUI is taking over 60 seconds to log in.
• Issue while using LDAP authentication only.
• SSH to the server with same user is right away with no issues

Resolution

• Disable User groups sync from Satellite webui and try to login again.

 Administer --> LDAP Authentication ---> Create LDAP Auth Source --> Account ---> Uncheck Usergroup Sync "External user groups will be synced on login, else relies on periodic cronjob to check group membership"

• After that restart httpd service :

  # systemctl httpd restart

  # systemctl httpd status
