How do I enable large page support on Solaris?

Issue

I want to enable large page support for Java, and I must enable it on my Solaris system.

Resolution

As of Solaris 9, which includes Multiple Page Size Support (MPSS), no additional configuration is necessary beyond the JVM option(s).
On T2000 hardware, a large page size set too high can lead to performance degradation; therefore, 64K is recommended.
