Metaspace filling on EAP 7 with org.jboss.as.security.plugins.ModuleClassLoaderLocator$CombinedClassLoaders
Environment
- JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 7.1.0 - 7.2.5
Issue
- We are seeing high GC churn from metaspace fill up. Analysis shows this is filling up with many dead
org.jboss.as.security.plugins.ModuleClassLoaderLocator$CombinedClassLoaders.
Resolution
- Update to EAP 7.2.6+
Root Cause
- A classloader is inefficiently created for each request
