Environment

Red Hat Satellite 6

Issue

  • The old LDAP connector is not visible from the web GUI and from CLI ... is there a way to get this connector visible?

  • hammer auth-source list shows
    Could not bind to ActiveDirectory user <USERNAME>/<ENVIRONMENT>

Resolution

List the auth sources via foreman-rake console with the below command:

# echo "AuthSourceLdap.all" | foreman-rake console

Root Cause

Incorrect configuration or corrupt configurations on the auth source can cause the inability to see the auth sources on the Satellite server via the hammer command or the Satellite WebUI.
