Sync Plan is not editable in WebUI via Recurring Logics

Solution Verified - Updated

Environment

Red Hat Satellite 6

Issue

The nightly sync plan was not running, and when it was checked, it did not list the next scheduled run time. Going into Recurring Logic, and it could be enabled, and now it shows is scheduled to run daily, but it was to run daily at the wrong time and cannot be edited.

Resolution

In the Satellite WebUI, proceed as follows:

  1. click on Content >> Sync Plans
  2. click on the name of the sync plan to be edited
  3. click on the paper/pen icon to the right of the start date
  4. make the changes to the date/time
  5. click 'save'

This will 'cancel' the current sync plan time in the Recurring Logics area and create a new line (since it is a new cron task) elsewhere in Recurring Logics.
