Capsule Upgrade Playbook is failing on the Red Hat Satellite server.

Environment

• Red Hat Satellite 6.8.x

Issue

• Unable to upgrade the capsule server using remote execution.
• Capsule upgrade playbook is failing on the Red Hat Satellite 6.8 server.
• Capsule upgrade playbook is failed with the error "Failed! Capsule server upgrade failed. See /var/log/foreman-installer/capsule.log in the Capsule server for more information" but no capsule.log generated on the capsule server.

Resolution

• Verify the package version of rubygem-foreman_maintain on the capsule server and update the package to the latest version.
• The latest version of the package rubygem-foreman_maintain is rubygem-foreman_maintain-0.6.13-1.el7sat.noarch.
