Resolution
- Check the
Content Viewfor the promotedLife-cycle Environments.
- Satellite GUI >> Content >> Content-View >> Select CV >> Version >> Environments + Content - Check the
Capsulecontent for theLife-cycle Environments.
- Satellite GUI >> Infrastructure >> Capsules >> Select Capsule >> Content >> Expand Life-cycle Environments - In the
Capsulecontent select theLife-cycle Environments, it will redirect to the sameContent Viewversion for the promotedLife-cycle Environments. Hence the discrepancy is only in the packages counts display and not in the actual packages contents. If the capsule is successfully synchronized in the Satellite then we can be ignored.

Root Cause
Capsulecontent counts display will always be equal or less then theContent-Viewpackages counts as multiple repositories have same packages contents in common. As the common packages from multiple repositories are consider as single unit and add ups in the Content-View counts, where as inCapsulecontent common packages are consider as one single package and doesn't add up multiple times.- Hence the packages count in the
Content-Viewwill always be equal or more then theCapsulecontent and this can be ignored.

- Satellite GUI >> Content >> Content-View >> Select CV >> Version >> Environments + Content - Check the
Capsulecontent for theLife-cycle Environments.
- Satellite GUI >> Infrastructure >> Capsules >> Select Capsule >> Content >> Expand Life-cycle Environments
