Red Hat Satellite 6.8.4

Issue

Satellite upgrade to 6.8.4 failing on the step of db:migrate due to foreman-scap-client port parameter override value not being set to 'true' allowing the installer to set the key type value to 'integer'.

Resolution

Change the override boolean value to true prior to the upgrade to avoid hitting this issue with the below command:

# sudo -u postgres psql -d foreman -c "update lookup_keys set override = true where key = 'port';"

Root Cause

The upgrade to 6.8.4 includes the change of the puppet parameter value port from string to an integer to resolve the bug This content is not included.1900737- puppet run fails with error parameter 'port' expects a Stdlib::Port = Integer[0, 65535] value, got String. The value of the key-type is blank and cannot be changed unless the override value is set to true. The command in the resolution will set the override value to true allowing the installer to change the key-type to integer during the db:migrate step on the installer.
