Can "background-validation" and "background-validation-minutes" parameters be used for datasources in EAP 5?

Environment

• JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 5

Issue

• Can <background-validation> and <background-validation-minutes> be used for datasources in EAP 5?
• We're configuring <background-validation> and <background-validation-minutes> to our datasource to enable background validation and set the interval in EAP 4.3. Can these settings be used also in EAP 5?

Resolution

• No, <background-validation> and <background-validation-minutes> have been deprecated and no longer supported since EAP 5. <background-validation-minutes> is replaced with <background-validation-millis>. And any <background-validation-millis> > 0 will enable background validation.
