The first supported release of Java 17 by Red Hat comes with the release of OpenJDK 17 in [RHEL 8.5 update](https://access.redhat.com/announcements/6488381)

With the release of JBoss EAP 7.4 Update 7 we now support OpenJDK 17. With the release of JBoss EAP 7.4 Update 8 we now support Oracle JDK 17.
