[Satellite 6.x] Incremental update of a content-view does not auto-publish the composite content-view (CCV)
Environment
- Red Hat Satellite 6.9
Issue
- For a composite content-view (CCV) with auto-publish enabled, doing an incremental update of a simple content-view (CV) in the composite content-view (CCV) does not trigger an auto-publish of the CCV, regardless of having the Always Use Latest policy enabled for the simple content-views (CV) in the CCV. After the incremental update completion, the CCV points to the latest (minor) version of the CV. It is just not auto-published.
Resolution
-
A new version of the composite content-view (CCV) needs to be published manually.
