Satellite content view import fails with error `Unable to import in to Content View specified in the metadata`
Environment
- Red Hat Satellite 6.10 or later.
Issue

After exporting a Content View containing the
rhel-7-server-satellite-6.11-rpmsrepository on a Satellite 6.10 server using thehammer export-legacycommand, importing the same Content View into a disconnected Satellite 6.11 server fails.[root@satellite ~]# hammer content-import version --path /var/lib/pulp/imports/MYORG/CV-IMPORT/ --organization MYORG Could not import the archive.: Unable to import in to Content View specified in the metadata - 'CV-IMPORT'. The 'import_only' attribute for the content view is set to false. To mark this Content View as importable, have your system administrator run the following command on the server. foreman-rake katello:set_content_view_import_only ID=21
Resolution
- Check the manifest in the This content is not included.Red Hat Customer Portal is set to the same version as the disconnected Satellite server.
- Download the manifest and import to the disconnected Satellite server.
