Resolution
- The Red Hat Customer Portal provides all the RPM packages included in our products in our This content is not included.Downloads area. There are two ways to locate a package you are interested in -- by package name, and by product/repo.
Note: An active product subscription that includes entitlements to the package are required to view or download packages.
Browse by package
- From This content is not included.Downloads, choose This content is not included.RPM Package Search. The Package Search allows searching for packages regardless of product, but can be limited to a specific product. This is helpful when you are not sure in which product or repo a package is included.
- Enter keywords or part of a package name into the keyword field
- By default, searches for packages within all your active products. You can limit the scope by choosing a specific product.
- When searching by actual filename, you must include the .rpm extension.
- In the search results, choose the specific Architecture an RHEL version (el7 for RHEL7, el8 for RHEL8, el9 for RHEL9) for the package you would like to view
- The package details page automatically loads the information for the latest version. If you need a different version, choose this from the version selector at the top of the page. From the Details tab, you can view all details of a package including which repos it is available from.
- Downloads for the selected package version and architecture are listed at the bottom of the page.
- Verify the SHA-256 checksum of the downloaded file.
Browse by product/repo
- From This content is not included.Downloads, browse to the product you are interested in and then select the 'Packages' tab. For example, This content is not included.packages for RHEL 7 Server. This is helpful when you know exactly which product contains the package you are interested in.
- Enter keywords or part of a package name into the keyword field above the package list.
- The table will update with search results.
- You can click the name of a package to view package details.
- Otherwise, simply click 'Download latest' to download the current package used with the selected product/version/architecture.
- If you view package details, the page automatically loads the information for the latest version. If you need a different version, choose this from the version selector at the top of the page. From the Details tab, you can view all details of a package including which repos it is available from.
- Downloads for the selected package version and architecture are listed at the bottom of the page.
