Running an incremental update of a Content View takes hours to complete. While full publish of the Content View takes much less time.

This happens regardless of dependency solving enabled or disabled for the CV.

When running a CV incremental update,
katelloenables dependency solving for the content resolution and copy. This is hardcoded and does not depend on the CV settings. -
From
Red Hat Satellite v6.14, it will be possible to set the dependency solving individually for each incremental update, with default value tofalse.
