Resolution

Red Hat evaluated this request in RFE This content is not included.Implement threshold and/or size based retention in Loki and while it's recognized that it is a valid request, it's not expected to be implemented in the product in the foreseeable future. This is due to other priorities for the product and not a reflection of the request itself.

Root Cause

Currently, it's only possible to enable the stream retention in Loki by time. Read the article "Defining retention for logs in LokiStack in RHOCP4" for more details.
