OutOfMemoryError from tags leaked in WebInjectionContainer after exception

Environment

Issue

  • We have some tags that throw exceptions and they are not released from heap after exceptions. They accumulate in the WebInjectionContainer's instanceMap.

Resolution

  • Address any recurring exceptions in any tags to mitigate leaks
  • Or update to EAP 7.4.19+ or 8.0.5+ for a resolution
  • For Tomcat, upgrade to JWS 5+ / Tomcat 9.0+
