EAP 7.4.9+ degrades performance with increased CPU in statement overhead

Environment

• JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 7.4.9+

Issue

• We see a substantial increase in CPU when moving to EAP 7.4.9+ because it looks like statements that were reused from cache before no longer are.

Resolution

• Await a fix in a later EAP update

Root Cause

• Due to This content is not included.JBJCA-1461, statement cache flushing is forced when a connection is returned so statement reuse is not allowed across connection returns as in prior releases.
