  • Does Red Hat support VMware VM's on Azure Vmware Solutions ( AVS ) as members of a RHEL High Availability cluster?
  • Does Red Hat support Azure Vmware Solutions ( AVS ) Virtual Machines as members of a RHEL High Availability cluster?

Resolution

Red Hat does not support Azure Vmware Solutions (AVS) as members of a RHEL High Availability or Resilient Storage cluster. This has been evaluated by our engineering team in RFE RHEL-61914, but it has been closed as "Won't Do" in October 2025, so there is currently no plan to support RHEL Pacemaker clusters hosted in AVS.
