When provisioning a host via a Red Hat Satellite server integrated with IdM, Satellite creates the host in IdM, and passes the name of the hostgroup used for provisioning as the value for the LDAP
userclassattribute in IdM. -
Is it possible to provision a host via a Red Hat Satellite server integrated with IdM, and have the LDAP
userclassattribute in IdM populated with a different value than the name of the hostgroup used for provisioning? -
I have tried to add a host parameter with the name
ipa_userclassand withuserclassbut in both cases the LDAPuserclassattribute in IdM ended up being populated with the name of the hostgroup used for provisioning, and not the values specified with the host parameter.
