Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
- There is no plan to include support for storage based fencing for RHEL 7.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
- There is no plan to include support for storage based fencing for RHEL 8.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9
- This issue is being tracked with the issue This content is not included.RHEL-7749 ([RFE] RHEL9 support fence agent based on NVME reservation) for RHEL 9.
This jira issue is an RFE to provide a storage based fence-agent either by modifying existing fence-agent or fence-agents or by creating a new fence-agent for a storage based fence-agent for NVMe storage devices.

Root Cause
