The Foreman Discovery ISO provided with Red Hat Satellite 6.17 displays the error "no implicit conversion of nil into String" just after selecting the network interface

Environment

• Red Hat Satellite 6.17
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10.x VM (running on VMware 8) provisioned via Satellite

Issue

• While provisioning a RHEL 10.x host, the Foreman Discovery ISO provided with Red Hat Satellite 6.17 foreman-discovery-image-x86_64-5.0.1-22.el9sat.iso displays the following error message on the second screen, just after selecting the network interface:

Resolution

• This issue is a known bug and is being addressed by This content is not included.When booting using FDI (Foreman Discovery Image) version 5.0.1-22, it's failing.

• Based on the referred-to Jira ticket, the bug has been fixed in foreman-discovery-image-5.1.1, which has not yet released in any currently available Red Hat Satellite release.

• As a workaround, use the upstream ISO version 5.1.1 provided by upstream Foreman Content from downloads.theforeman.org is not included.fdi-5.1.1-51b9043.iso until the Jira ticket is resolved.
