Red Hat Satellite upgrade to version 6.17 fails with dependency issues for python3.11-pyjwt+crypto and python3.11-pyjwt package.

• Red Hat Satellite 6.16

Issue

• Red Hat Satellite upgrade from version 6.16 to 6.17 fails with dependency issue for python3.11-pyjwt+crypto and python3.11-pyjwt package:

  cannot install the best update candidate for package python3.11-pyjwt-2.9.0-1.el9pc.noarch
  nothing provides python3.11-pyjwt+crypto >= 2.4 needed by python3.11-pulp-container-2.22.10-1.el9pc.noarch from satellite-6.17-for-rhel-9-x86_64-rpms
  

• The same issue is encountered during Red Hat Satellite update from an earlier 6.17.x to the 6.17.10 release.

Resolution

• Upgrade fails with error:

  Problem 1: cannot install the best update candidate for package python3.11-pulp-container-2.22.3-1.el9pc.noarch
    - nothing provides python3.11-pyjwt+crypto >= 2.4 needed by python3.11-pulp-container-2.22.10-1.el9pc.noarch from satellite-6.17-for-rhel-9-x86_64-rpms
   Problem 2: package satellite-common-6.17.10-1.el9sat.noarch from satellite-6.17-for-rhel-9-x86_64-rpms requires pulpcore-plugin(container), but none of the providers can be installed
    - package python3.11-pulp-container-2.22.3-1.el9pc.noarch from @System conflicts with python3.11-pyjwt >= 2.10 provided by python3.11-pyjwt-2.13.0-1.el9pc.noarch from satellite-6.17-for-rhel-9-x86_64-rpms
    - package python3.11-pulp-container-2.22.2-1.el9pc.noarch from satellite-6.17-for-rhel-9-x86_64-rpms conflicts with python3.11-pyjwt >= 2.10 provided by python3.11-pyjwt-2.13.0-1.el9pc.noarch from satellite-6.17-for-rhel-9-x86_64-rpms
