• Can Red Hat Virtualization be installed on the same hardware that is Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) certified?
• Why there is no dedicated section for Red Hat Virtualization certification under Red Hat hardware certification site?

Resolution

• Hardware certification for Red Hat Virtualization (RHEV and RHV) is covered by the hardware certification for Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Red Hat Virtualization supports the same hardware as Red Hat Enterprise Linux: With Red Hat Virtualization, you only have one hardware compatibility list. If your hardware is certified for Red Hat Enterprise Linux and it supports Intel VT or AMD-V technology, then it is certified for Red Hat Virtualization.
