Issue

  • How to change/update the Company Name on the Red Hat Customer Portal?
  • Organization name is different on Customer Portal instead of the actual Company Name. How can we update it ?

Resolution

The Company Name change request can be raised by both:

  • Organization Administrator (Org-Admin) of the account
  • Non Organization Administrator (all other users in the account who do not have admin access) of the account

Procedure for Company Name change by Organization Administrator (Org-Admin)

  • Organization Administrator (Org-Admin) of the account has to approve and send the below Company Name change verbiage to Customer Service team from his/ her registered email address.

" I wish to change the entity currently named on this account [Current Company Name], (the "Current Entity") to [New Company Name] (the "New Entity"). I represent that (a) I have the authority to make the name change requested on behalf of the Current Entity; and (b) the information I have provided herein is true and correct. I understand that the requested transfer will bind New Entity to all terms and conditions of (x) the current agreements on the listing below; and (y) all future agreements executed under this account "
  • After receiving the verbiage, the Customer Service team will initiate the Company Name change process.

Procedure for Company Name change by Non Organization Administrator (all other users in the account who do not have admin access)

  • Non Org Admin users will have to contact the Org Admin(s) of the account so that the Org admin(s) can approve and send the company name change verbiage to Customer Service team from their registered email address.

  • In case the Org Admin of the account has left the company or is not reachable then click here
