Bug 29772579 compat-libcap1-1.10 package missing error during single-instance Oracle Database and Oracle Database Client installations on Oracle Linux 8 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8. Workaround: In the Perform Prerequisite Checks screen, for the compat-libcap1-1.10 missing check, select Ignore All, and click Install to continue with the installation. Note:Ensure that you fix all other checks and issues that are listed in the screen.
