Leapp utility preupgrade check fails on Red Hat Satellite 6.11 with STDERR: Warning: Package marked by Leapp to install not found in repositories metadata

Environment

• Red Hat Satellite 6.11

Issue

• Leapp utility preupgrade check fails on Red Hat Satellite or Capsule 6.11 if module_hotfixes=1 is not added in Satellite or Capsule repository file.

Resolution

• As a workaround of This content is not included.Bug 2089887, follow below steps:

  • Run # subscription-manager repo-override --repo=satellite-6.11-for-rhel-8-x86_64-rpms --add=module_hotfixes:1 on Satellite machine.

  • Run # subscription-manager repo-override --repo=satellite-capsule-6.11-for-rhel-8-x86_64-rpms --add=module_hotfixes:1 on external Capsule machine.
