Associating Red Hat Enterprise Linux for Virtual Datacenters, Standard or Premium subscriptions with specific hypervisors registered to Red Hat Satellite 6.x

- Red Hat Satellite 6.x
- Simple Content Access (SCA) enabled.
Issue
- Having multiple Red Hat Enterprise Linux for Virtual Datacenters, Standard and Red Hat Enterprise Linux for Virtual Datacenters, Premium subscriptions, how to give VDC premium license to a hypervisor? How to identity ? Is there any option to define?
Resolution

In Red Hat Satellite's web UI, you can specify which VDC subscription a hypervisor can consume (Premium or Standard) by applying the following procedure:

Log in to Satellite's web UI.

Navigate to
Hosts->Content Hosts. -
Search for a specific hypervisor, and click on it.

Change the
Service Levelattribute to one that matches the desired VDC subscription (Premium,Standard, orSelf Support).
